As always our events are 100% feelgood inspiration, community, and a place to create your own space.
This time we are focusing on socks - knitted the traditional Norwegian way. Top down, with heel flap, gusset and wedge toe. And if these terms are new to you, don't worry, you will learn all about the different parts and how to deal with them.
Some of you have mastered the art of knitting socks already and some of you haven't.
This time you choose to join the knitalong only, or you can join knitalong including step by step class taking you from cast on to binding off.
We start knitting on January 20 and the last pattern part is released February 10 - together with the hat patterns.
Socks are really fun to knit - especially when you have cracked the code!
And, they are wonderful Christmas presents. So why not start the Christmas gift production early this year?

This time there is an option for those who already know how to knit socks, but who want to join the knitalong without the tutorials - and another option for those of you who want to learn to knit socks or want to learn more about knitting socks top down. You pick the option that suits you the best …
INSPIRATION
Inside the Norwegian Winter Knit you will find all kinds of inspirational stuff. Photos, surprises, new knitting friends, color tips, exciting tips and ideas, magical moments, self care and memories for life centered around your love for knitting
VIDEO TUTORIALS
If you decide to join the class in addition to the knitalong you will get detailed instructions taking you from A to Z on the socks. All tutorials are short and specific. They normally last for 3-6 minutes and address one (maybe two) thing(s) at a time.
YARN GUIDE
Since we are spread all around the world, the yarns available to us differ a lot. You get a complete yarn guide that covers all the patterns so that you can find a local yarn or dive into your yarn stash and find a something which fits to these projects.
PATTERNS
You get one sock pattern, however I do give you 2 different diagrams. One with 2 colors and and one with 5 colors.
Towards the end of the knitalong you will also get 2 hat patterns matching the different socks.
COMMUNITY & WORKSHOPS
Half the fun of knitting and crafting is to have someone to share it with. Of course we have our own Facebook-group. But you also be invited to knitting huddles/Q&As on zoom. The number of of huddles and Q&As will depend on what what option you decide to join.

I have designed knitting patterns my whole life, as I always have made my own designs and never ever followed someone else's pattern (apart from 2 times). I have designed for you guys for nearly 10 years now and I am loving it!
