Each journey opens a different path, but all share the same heart: knitting, heritage, and community. If a full journey isn’t right for you now, you can also step into one of the Norwegian Knitting Magic courses (Levels 0–2) for a shorter, focused experience.

The Fjord Journey is where you get the Mountain Journey and then go further on, beyond patterns. With full access to our Norwegian Knitting Magic courses 0-2, live teaching, and special collections, you’ll gain the confidence to master techniques while staying connected to your heritage and the community.

The Northern Light Journey

Step into the greatest experience of them all.


The Northern Light Journey brings everything together – courses, patterns, live teaching, and an all-encompassing knitting experience. This is where mastery meets magic, and where knitters join Anne at the highest level of connection and learning.

Lofoten Wool: For the first time we welcome Lofoten Wool to Norwegian Wool Month. Join us and discover how local wool, native sheep breeds and traditional craft come together in the Lofoten Islands. Sustainable yarn and textiles, rooted in Norwegian heritage and made with care.

 

Mountain Journey members: Right after the presentation you are invited to a Q&A with the people from Lofoten Wool and ANK on Zoom where you can ask your questions and get the answers right from the source!

August 18th

A Norwegian Surprise: Anne and Steph is planning something brand new – about something very old – for you.

August 20th

A Journey Through HillesvĂĽg Ullvarefabrikk: Today Anne is taking you on a walk through HillesvĂĽg Ullvarefabrikk.


She'll talk about their yarn made from 100% Norwegian Wool and all is produced in Norway in their original premises - how awesome is that?

Anne will also be showing you her favorite yarns. 

August 21st

We had such a wonderful conversation with some of our Northern Lighters earlier today. Steph and I handed the microphone over to them (well... I tried 😄), and they shared what they’ve knitted, what they’ve learned, their experiences in the community and what Northern Lights has meant to them. If Northern Lights has been on your mind, I really recommend watching this one.

Anne’s Norwegian Knitting is getting ready for autumn. Over the years, Anne’s Norwegian Knitting has grown.  We have the Mountain Journey. The Fjord Journey. Northern Lights Journey. Level 1. Level 2. Level 3...
