Anne's Norwegian Knitting Nook is a safe place for curious knitters who are into, or want to explore more of, Norwegian Knitting - TOGETHER with other like minded knitters. Knitters who want to knit together and alongside other knitters and grow new skills, get new friends as the enjoy their Norwegian knitting journey.
Some people prefer to knit alone - others want to knit “together”.
If you are a “knit together” knitter, this is for you!
If you are into Norwegian knitting, whether it is colorwork or other knitting styles, or want to learn more about it, this is for you!

What is knitting without inspiration? In the Norwegian Knitting Nook you will be inspired and/or challenged to grow as you knit you way along your journey.

Encouragement and Love
This Nook is a 100 % feelgood place - where we focus on love, positivity. laughter, and cheering each other on. This is the place were you treat your fellow knitters just as you want them to treat you.
Online Knitting Huddles
Inside you will be invited to a monthly knitting huddle hosted by one of the wonderful knitters in TeamAnne. A huddle where we sit and knit and talk and help each other and enjoy our craft together with fellow knitters.
Norwegian Design and Patterns
This is not a pattern focused Nook. We are focusing on the community and the togetherness. Still, you will be getting some of Anne's patterns, a variety between plain knit, cables and colorwork.
Events and Happenings
This Nook will invite you to events and theme months. Some months will be "just knitting" others will be create alongs, and other months will be theme months. In August you are in for a very special treat ... :)

Some of what's happening this autumn:
🎄 October 1st (yupp a couple of weeks ago) the brand new Christmas Tree Skirt was released and is now available in the Nook
🎄 November 1st the brand new Christmas Stocking will be in the Nook and we start our Knit Together.
🌟 Holiday star pattern is already released in the Nook
🌰🔔 Latter part of October you will get an adorable acorn and Christmas Bell pattern
🧶 And in November you will also find the mini-mittens in the Nook
🧶 There is also the monthly knitting huddles where we meet to chat and knit
🧶 November Workshop where we dive into Pi Circles
We have already started dripping out the fun and soon we're kicking off the brand new Christmas Stocking Knit together

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT ANNE'S NORWEGIAN KNITTING
That's me, Anne!
A knitting designer, a yarn lover, color conscious Norwegian, knitting motivator and in love with nature and knitting of all kinds.
Short story is that I have knitted since ... forever.
I have designed knitting patterns my whole life, as I always have made my own designs and never ever followed someone else's pattern (apart from 2 times). I have designed for you guys for 10 years now and thousands of people have knit my patterns in Norwegian. Now I am all focused on you knitting the patterns in English - and, in addition to designing, teaching knitting is now my mission. And what can I say? I am loving every minute of it!
There is little I find more inspiring than to motivate YOU to move your needles and create magic.
