FAIR ISLE, NORWEGIAN, STRANDED, COLORWORK ...
Confused?
I cannot tell you how many times I have heard people say things like "Anne, I really like your Fair Isle knitting" (Fair Isle? Really? 😉) or " Fair Isle and Norwegian those are the same, right?" or "I don't knit Fair Isle, so I cannot knit your patterns, Anne". And, "Seriously what is what? Some call it stranded, some call it Norwegian, other Latvian and you call it colorwork, Anne. I don't get it!"
Time has come to do something about this.
You are hereby invited to a virtual knitting seminar where we will sort out all this ... and more!
What will we be talking about?
What is the difference between Fair Isle and Norwegian knitting - and we will take a closer look on some of the traditional designs.
Sort out all the terminology confusion.
In addition we will be talking about Norwegian wool ...
